Hannover Messe is a world-leading industrial trade fair, focusing this year e.g. in AI and Machine Learning and Manufacturing-X. We are excited to participate in the event as part of the Business Finland-organized Finland Pavilion.
Top Data Science’s strategic focus is on applying AI and computer vision-based technologies to automate factory and production processes as well as quality assurance. The main themes at Hannover Messe match extremely well with our competencies and capabilities, which has enabled us to automate for example welding inspections for our German key customer Brose. Brose is utilizing the solution in five locations across their global operations.
Kai Lehtinen, our COO, is also presenting at the event in the Industrial Startup Stages on Wednesday, April 24th. The title of the presentation is: AISA project – Extending Computer Vision based Automation. Top Data Science has been a core partner in Nokia and Dimecc led co-innovation project AISA (AI for Situational Awareness) funded by Business Finland since it started in 2021. Our main R&D theme in 2024 is Computer Vision based Quality Assurance, and Kai will share the highlights of our development results in his presentation.
In our last blog Advantages of combining different models we shared best practices and the benefits of combining different machine learning models to optimally solve demanding customer problems. To make things practical we have created a live demo for Hannover Messe, which will demonstrate how different computer vision-based models can be used to detect quality problems in industrial devices and parts.
